Hey everybody,
I am almost back on my regular day to day life without marching band,which means both pairs of shoes I am been painting are almost done (FINALLY)

As I am in marching band for Leigh High School (Go longhorns) you guys can check us out at the San Jose Holiday Parade on Channel 11 at 8 AM tomorrow (Sunday).
This is the biggest holiday parade in the state of California and I hate it because I have to be at school at 6 in the morning for your enjoyment. So Check us out.

And if you would like to know where to find us among all of the bands, look for green jackets and blacks pants and Signs that say LEIGH. I am the G in leigh.

Tomorrow I am leaving to Fresno, California for the WBA finals for marching band.
It is a two day event so I will not be on for the next couple of days.
I am happy to say that I will back to painting shoes and posting them in soon!

It is 4 parts, Mother Earth (1st song), Ammerland/ballad (2nd song) Look for a tree at the end, Storm (percussion feature), and Engines of Resistance/closer (3rd Song).

I am what you could call "low woodwinds" which contains tenor and baritone saxophones and bass clarients.
This is not our final show, I still have three weeks till have will be able to paint again.

Our WBA finals in 4A (AAAA) are on Nov. 21, 2009 in Fresno, CA. It is an amazing event to watch, so if you are close by I would recommend that you come.

I found out recently that over the past three months I have been suffering what is called a "trigger thumb". Basically at its worst (Where I am at) it causes extreme pain, swelling, clicking, and more pain. All of this was due to my tenor saxophone being to large for my small size. Luckily once marching band I will be able to fully recover.

1 1/2 more months of my living hell in marching band, and so I will be able to have time to paint.
For those who had to wait for commissions it is completely me fault to not have planned my time better.

Our show is called Mother Earth, there are four parts to our show. The opener, in which earth is created in chaos, then the ballad, all the woodland creatures are happy and alive. Then we have the storm which is the percussion feature. Finally the closer which is where man comes in and we destroy earth.

Once the show is done and we have a good copy I hope to upload it.
